    TKN would like apologize for the publication error. The last three lines were not included in the printed edition of Issue 2.  Americans woke up to horrific news last Monday October 2nd. Radio stations and News channels tried updating the morning audience on the ongoing story of the horrific tragedy that took place the night before – Stephen Paddock, a 64-year-old man from Nevada opened fire with semi-automatic weapons on more than 20,000 concert-goers at the Harvest Festival in Las Vegas.     Queens College community gets active shooter response training

    New York Police Department’s SHIELD unit members, a counterterrorism program, visited Queens College on Nov. 18 to talk about campus safety and active shooters. The event, held at Rosenthal Library 230, comes after many mass shootings across the country with over 290, according to an article from The Washington Post on Oct. 1. Juan Colon is a junior majoring in political science and a Marine Corps veteran who served in Iraq.
