    “Meets the Greeks” Shines (Once Again) for Fall Recruitments

    As a new semester begins, Queens College sororities and fraternities prepare for what is arguably the most crucial time for their organizations: new member recruitment. Without an influx of new students to recruit, both freshmen and transfers alike, QCs Greek community would cease to exist.     To promote all of the diverse organizations on campus, Inter-Greek Council (otherwise known as IGC) organizes an annual showcase in which each group has the opportunity to give potential new members insight into their values and philanthropies before presenting a short performance.     QC’s Inter Greek Council Presents: Meet the Greeks

    On February 20, the Queen’s College Inter-Greek Council hosted its semi-annual “Meet the Greeks” event, in which Greek organizations were able to showcase their respective fraternity or sorority through tabling and speaking to the crowd. The Greek organizations featured were: Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA), Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi), Delta Phi Epsilon (DPhiE), Lambda Pi Upsilon, Sigma Delta Tau (SDT), Alpha Phi Delta (APD), Alpha Chi Rho (AXP), Tau Epsilon Phi (TEP), Phi Sigma Sigma, Gamma Omega Delta, Epsilon Sigma Phi (ESP), Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi and Kappa Sigma.
